1. What options are there for television watching in Beijing?

Beijing's local cable network offers around 60 local channels, Some hotels and apartment buildings offer their international channels via independent dish systems; the programs they offered differs from place to place.

 

2. Can I got the detailed description on Dream Satellite TV?

The most popular options is Dream Satellite TV from the Philippines. This system requires a 0.45m/0.55m diameter dish to get a sufficiently strong signal reception. The channel lineup is: CNN, CNBC Asia, BBC World, ABC Asia Pacific - Australia, Bloomberg, HBO Asia, Cinemax, Star Movies, Star Chinese Movies, Hallmark, Turner Classic Movies, Star World, AXN, NGC, A1 - Adventure One, MTV Philippines, Channel [V], ETC-Entertainment Centerl, Disney, Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, Animax. 3. What are basic criteria you must meet for installation?

Make sure there are no obstructions in the direction the dish must face; they might block the signal. generally speaking, the bigger the dish, the better the reception is when weather is bad. But each system has a minimum dish requirement.

 

4. Our satellite equipments doesn`t work at all, what should I do?

Firstly make sure your decoder still connected to the dish. secondly make sure your card in the decoder is not expired. Thirdly you need to find out which satellite package you are meant to be getting with the setup... the situation is there are many different satellite channels that are bundled into a variety of packages. then you shall call the satellite guy to buy the new card.

 

5. Can I use my existing wiring to install my satellite system?

If the cable in your house is RG-6 coax cable, you can use it to connect your receiver to your satellite dish. otherwise, you will need to run new cable. It is important that you use RG6 cable due to the frequency of the digital signals it must carry.

 

6. Can I just buy some channels of your system?

The answer is no, there are many different satellite channels that are bundled into a variety of packages. you can delete some channels in your favorite list so you don't see them each time you switch channels.

 

7. How many TVs can I connect to one dish? or to one dish/receiver?

You may have as many as four (4) TV sets connected to the dish. However, if you wish to do this, you will have to advise us in advance so you may be given the dish configured for such service. Also, you will have to purchase additional Receivers for additional televisions.

 

8. What's the difference between different size dishes?

Driving through any neighborhood and you're likely to see small gray dishes clinging to rooftops or balconies pointed to the sky, ranging from 0.5m in diameter to 1.5m in diameter. Most of the dishes are around 0.55m in diameter; the size depends on which satellite the dish must receive from. Generally speaking, the bigger the dish, the better the reception is when weather is bad such as during heavy rain. Each system has a minimum dish requirement. 9. What situation for the clients to choose the pirated system?

If you are seeking a shot installation, no annual fees, or you are living in China only for a relatively short period, you're unlikely to run afoul of either of those risks to a pirated system.

 

10. What if I move?

11. What should I do for installation?

Our installation is fast, straightforward and comprehensive.

During Installation

Our Satellite installer will:

  1. Install a dish on your roof, side of home, balcony or other location.
  2. Drill through one wall.
  3. Connect Receiver to your current TV
  4. Give you a mini-lesson about your system.

The majority of Our customers need just one dish, no matter how many receivers/rooms. A select few customers may require an additional dish, depending on a customer's programming choices.

 

12. What if I Live in an Apartment or Condo?

You don't need to own a house to enjoy our Satellite service. Our professional installers will install the Satellite system in the most appealing location for your home, apartment, condominium or townhouse. You may need to ask permission from your property management office before getting a Satellite TV System installed.

 

13. What if Satellite TV system upgrade or fails?

We will send mail to you announce system upgrade and will arrange to deliver the updated smart card to your residence. If your hardware failed, say Remote controller, Receiver etc. We will arrange the replacement.
